General

Dear Engineering Students,
I am Shankar, did my M.Tech in Power and Control from IIT Kanpur, B.Tech from JNTU Kakinada Campus and Diploma from Andhra Polytechnic Kakinada.
I worked in General Electric, Hyderabad for 6 years in the field of renewable energy sources. At present, delivering number of lectures in the field of power electronics (since 2007) and delivered lectures in Control systems as well (in the past) especially for GATE/ESE/PSUs. This blog is to explore the various opportunities for electrical engineering students especially preparing for competitive exams. I would like to utilize this blog as platform to share information as much as I can and requesting the continuous feed back for the improvement. I am maintaining this blog after my busy schedule as part of social service and giving back something to the society. If you like it, you can also be part of it

Thanks
BNSS Shankar

Share your ideas

Dear All,
I would like to start an initiative “Share your ideas”.
I read an article in one magazine on Crowd Sourcing. Concept of this crowd sourcing is to collect various ideas and problems faced by people. Then, brain storm on these issues/ideas to make a new programme or product. There were so many success stories using this concept.
I thought why don’t we apply this concept in our education field (especially for ESE/GATE/PSUs preparation) as well.
Some students used to struggle with some difficulties during their preparation and may not know whom to contact. Some successful candidates will have better ideas and tips they can share to others and can help the people. But, for all these, we need some channel or platform.
I want to make electrical mentor blog as forum for this.
So, I would like to collect the following points from interested students.
·         The more difficult problems you faced during your preparation and in finding jobs.
·         The best tips you followed during your preparation and those others can follow.
After collecting some good number of ideas/tips, I will consolidated the top or best ideas/problems so that other people can also follow them or suggest some useful solutions.
Based on my experience, I can also suggest some of my thoughts.
I will post these ideas/Problems in my blog periodically in my free time.

Always in the service of students,
With best wishes,
BNSS Shankar,
M.Tech (IITK), MIE
